There have been rumours circulating about a possible Jack White Solo Album for a while now. And it's looking ever more likely as the White Stripes/Dead Weather/Raconteurs member and label head is putting out a solo song on August 11 via his own Third Man Records. That song is called "Fly Farm Blues" and it will be available in on one-sided 7" and digitally.

According to a press release, the song was "written on the spot at the request of film director Davis Guggenheim while filming the new guitar documentary It Might Get Loud." The movie stars White along with U2's the Edge and Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page, and features Jack making a guitar out of a Coke bottle and a piece of wood while wearing a bowtie, according to this badass trailer.

Two more Jack-produced singles are also on the way from Third Man on August 11: Transit's "Cmon and Ride"/"Afterparty", two songs about Nashville's bus system by a band made up of employees of the Nashville Metro Transit Authority[!], and "Bohemian Grove"/"Atheist Funeral" from Birmingham, Alabama singer-songwriter Dan Sartain.
