Keane have declared themselves the new Pink Floyd, after becoming the first band to play a 3D concert over the internet. Singer Tom Chaplin, who was pictured wearing cardboard 3D glasses before the gig last night (April 2), said:
"I like getting in people's faces, so doing it in 3D suits what we do. We're the new Pink Floyd!" Drummer Richard Hughes also revealed that he threw a drumstick at one of the cameras during the performance to enhance the visuals. However, he accidentally hit the cameraman in the process (Daily Star).
