A Slipknot fan has died after suffering a heart attack at one of the metal band's gigs in Iowa.
Sandy Nickels, 29, collapsed on the concourse level of the Mid-America Center at 10:30pm (CST) on Sunday night (January 25) after watching the band, suffering cardiac arrest as rescue staff attended to her, reports Nonpareilonline.com.
The fan was pronounced dead at the Jennie Edmundson Hospital after CPR failed to revive her. Friends said Nickels had a history of heart problems in her family.
